Thanks a lot shipmates.
I have to say that the drawings are not as accurate as I would like them to be. Mostly, I don't have any plans to work from only rough outlines that I fill in the detail from photographs, which, in themselves, are of differing degrees of clarity. This naturally leads to inaccuracies especially with the underwater hull. I hope I have captured the essence of the ship.
I know that ferries are not everyone's cup of tea but there's something about them that appeals to me. I love the workhorse aspect and the fact that they have long careers sometimes with multiple companies. Where possible, I will try to represent the ferry in its many guises, if the ship has been transferred to another country.
An excellent resource for ferries is
http://www.hhvferry.com/deckplans which has list of 100 or so vessels from past to present. In case anyone else has a taste for them
I'd also like to say thank you to the forum for all the detailed parts sheets you have provided. I recently used huehen's excellent Norsafe boat sheet for my latest drawing MV Duc de Normandie which I will post soon...
