Ok, ladies and gents, here's the USS Guam (LPH-9) as she was on her 1997 cruise (her last before decommissioning):

And here's the USS Inchon (MCS-12, ex LPH-12):

I am aware that I posted Inch before, but this version is more accurate. And by the way, does anybody know anything about the scoop-shaped radar next to SPS-40? All I can find is that it was an experimental set fitted only to Guam.

Thanks in advance.

Looking good, but maybe link that pic, she is a little too big to see even on my 41" monitor.

Also ... *cough*Shipbucket.com logo*cough* ;)

 Thought I put the logo on. Whoops. I'll get it before I send it to be uploaded. And ok, I'll link the pic.

Two minor things. If you could put the year of the targeted render in the title block that would be great, and if you would please reduce the size of the credit line in the title block to the standard size that would be wonderful.

Standard size...ok, that's how it was when I started. And I'll put the year for Guam, but Inch remained the same through her (far too short) MCS career.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "scoop-shaped". The radar in your imageshack link is indistinguishable from a standard SPN-6 CCA marshaling radar, which was widely fitted aboard aviation ships.

Thank you, erik_t. The internet doesn't say anything other than what I already quoted, so that's why I was confused. Has it been drawn already?

Not to any real level of quality and accuracy, if it's been drawn at all.

Hmm, okay. It looks like Midway has it in her 1970 configuration. If that's true, I'll see about cleaning it up some. Is that the correct radar on her, just aft of the mast?

I believe the answer to be yes.
Beautiful drawings Gator, but still missing the Shipbucket credits on the template
