18.334? consider your ship now broken apart before it hits the bottom.

Apdaf, what you should have with that hull and a more plausible block coefficent of 0,65 is a displacement of about 27.900 tons, if you want the 35.000 rtns figure i suggest you to lenghten the battleship to 255 meters, whithout obviously enlarging the belt or you'll find yourself in the same situation; at that point tough you will have a lenght to beam ratio more similar to a cruiser, so i think a lenght of 235, beam of 29 and draught of 8,2 would be the best option.

Your Block Coefficient now exceeds unity.

This is an impossibility.

I'm with BB 1987 here, apart from one problem. your ship looks of WW1 origin. due to structural constraints of that era, you get size limitations. I would look at queen elisabeth class ships for dimension myself, both in arnament, armour, speed and size. I consider these the ultimate evolution of the WW1 dreadnought (there was an reason they were called 'super dreadnought')

She is supposed to be a beefed up Queen Elisabeth class with triples instead of twins.

? I don't get what you mean, superfiring turrets are not what made them super dreadnoughts, and APDAF's design has superfiring turrets so you are not comparing the 2.

The reason why the Queen Elizabeths were termed super Dreadnoughts had nothing to do with super firing turrets whatever that means ? Do you mean super imposed ie one behind and above the other ? The reason was the increase in gun calibre from 13.5" to 15" and the increase in speed from 21 knots to 25 due to the introduction of oil fired rather than coal boilers.I hope this helps.
