Haram armed forces

Haram have had a long story about armoring vehicles.
At the end of WWI Haram started to experimenting with various design of Tanks, but it was not until 1939 Haram build it's first real tank. But before Haram had started to build their own tanks, they bought their tanks from various countries.

The first heavy
The first Heavy tank from Haram come in 1941. It was slow, armed with a 60 mm gun that later was upgraded to a 76 mm High velocity. During WWII Haram had only around a 100 main battle tanks, but in 1943 it all changed.

Haram industries, "A" tank 78 type A
Harams large network industries started to design and build tanks in large numbers.
During a one year period Haram had build more than 5000 Heavy tanks. The most famous tank of these was the "A" tank 78 type A. It was known to be a tank that was: armored and armed as a Heavy tank, with speed capability of a medium tank. A tank that is described by many historian as: "a tank that came from the future".
The standard tank was equipped with a 95 mm gun with shrapnel protection around the turret. It was build in large numbers, 2500 tanks . A normal division with the 95 mm MBT in Haram armed forces, would consist of: two Heavy tank, four medium tank, and six light tank, several light armored vehicles and one self propelled artillery with two howitzer tanks, and around 500 to 1500 men.

"A" tank 78 type A 105 mm
But the most famous version, was a class of tanks there was build only 20 tanks of, it was belonging to the 764 Division. It had lost the shrapnel armor for a bigger gun. The gun was: a redesigned, lighted, and more compact version of a naval High velocity gun! One tank of this type, was normally supported by three medium tanks, and a troop of 50 man. The 764 division was nicked as: "Devil in uniform!"

These tank did do it good during the end of WWII, but it was first in the 50's this tank become a serous deadly tank. And it was when new and much better guns and engine technology came.

Interesting concept ... but barrels don't look good.

DP Type 61 use 90mm barrel, look a lot better.

Or AMX13 with ... well I don't know if this is 90 or 105mm version

Definitely better!

I think that 105mm would be a little problematic conversion, turret will be relay cramped. But this model is just a transitional tank on the road to true MBT, right ?

the 105 mm well yes. but in stead for five crew member it had four. the turret was cramped, but it later was a version with a bigger turret, demanded by the division.

Interesting concept. :)
But I'm afraid that the written description would gain much if You try to rewrite it. In many places it's rather difficult to understand "what autor had on his mind". :(
