Beautiful!!! I AM speechless! It's exactly like my "baby" I really ought to make a sort of builder's diaroma or display with my Chokai mirrored against your wonderful rendition of it!
Si, thank you so much for drawing her!

Here's camouflaged Takao, in two "schemes". I can't decide which is better; the first uses the colors from Colombamike's supplied image, and is very bright. The second is a more muted version which I personally prefer. Up to BB and the other Takao experts to decide... I've never actually seen this camouflage scheme before!

It's awesome Colo, i really do not know wich one to choose, the first is indeed a bit bright, but is splendid as well.

just a minor nitpicking, or better a question, would they paint in camo colors even the searchlight lenses?

No, they definitely wouldn't -- but I've always noticed that it looks very strange having a stark bright lens in the middle of a dark camouflage ship. ;)

Yeah I agree that the muted tone version looks a lot better to my eyes. Just feels like the underwater anti-fouling red should be muted down a bit too to match.

Here comes the Takao during the 45'. Could I please request a version after the attack of British X-Crafts?
