Hnh. OK, I'll give it a go. These 2 pics are all the references "I" could find, so if anybody has any other pics of her when she was a receiving ship in SF Bay before and during WW2, I'd be most appreciative.

Right off, I can see where I'm going to have to redo the shading I have, and add some more in. Then there is the deck stuff and masts. Hopefully, I'll be able to do this historic ships end justice.

EDIT: Rhade, you may take my Freedom, but you will never take my CAKE!

(yeah, I know I mangled that quote. :P )

DP's sails are a good example. I used some of the same techniques he did to create some depth to them.
