I think he wanted Kutznezov length, Wasp design, and Japanese flatness, if that makes sense.

Five posts later, I think we can agree that this guy has no idea what he wants.

I'm not referring to you, more to the other party at NationStates.

Of course, we already all know that there is literally no one of value over there, so I guess it goes without saying.

Which is why I'm migrating to SMS. There are a few souls worth saving on NS, but, just that. FEW

If he'll go for no bow hatch, would it work? Also, at first he wanted a ski jump, but, thank God, I talked him out of it. That's one less fucking weird ass feature on this bastard.
With a ski jump it just sounds like an upscaled version of a unfinished Canberra Class LHD

Well, as the amphib expert on here, I'll go ahead and offer my 2 cents. First, an island is a good idea, cause you'll need long-range air search radar. Secondly, bow doors won't work due the requisite draft of a ship this size. Lastly, if you're going to use this as a carrier a la Invincible, a ski jump might work. If you're going to use this as an LPH/LHA/LHD, a ski jump just takes up heli landing spots. I drew the Wasp (LHD-1) and I'm workin on the Tarawa (LHA-1). Feel free to PM me if you'd like.

That depends on what your priorities are.
