making an platform underneath it, lowering the mast a bit, or make an girder mast of it instead of the pole you have now (or make an pole mast of the forward one, which might be the cause of the unbalanced look the ship has now)
an tripod mast might work too... the problem is at least not the radar, it is purely that the mast looks skinny and bare.

Hey, Zephyr, take a look at my Brazilian Niteroi-class. It carries a Plessey AWS-5 radar, so you can basically just take that mast. It'd fit handsomely on your vessel!

OK, I like that. Once again, Thiel to the rescue. ;) I would have used your suggestion, Bezo, but it seems Thiel has already solved my conundrum for me. I believe I may, however, use your idea for the predecessor "White Rose" class of Frigates. That one, at least my thoughts for it now, are for a bit of a Leander/Knox mash-up, kinda like this one is an Amazon/Perry mix.

Now back to that blasted LPD ..... yeesh. Who woulda thought a simple landing ship could prove so ... frustrating.

Oh and just to be clear, the radome is offset to port the same way the surface search radar is offset to starboard.

Been having a conversation with Thiel lately about some things, and one of the items brought up was my current carrier force. Me, liking big shiny things, had the idea of going USN style with about 8 "super-carriers". He brought up the point that since my AU nations main rival/adversary is also a neighbor nation, and the fact that my colonies are kinda spread out (I have a full global map I've been fiddling with. Not finished yet, but he's seen the basics of it) that it might make more sense to have a larger number of smaller carriers, perhaps CVA01 or DeGaulle sized. More hulls to cover more ocean, I guess you could say. That actually seems to make more sense to me, but I'd like to get input/ideas/comments from some others as well on the "super-carrier vs enlarged sea control carrier" issue.

Thoughts?

Well you could have one or two super-carriers and still have some manpower for smaller ones.
