The recesses are sloped upwards, not downwards, as seen in these pictures. That's why I shaded them lighter, darker would indicate sloping down.
While I was looking for pictures I noticed another anchor which I had missed. This will be fixed.

Beautiful drawing of an unlucky ship, Raxar. Maybe on the drawing, you ought to add, within parenthesis (ex. Pobeda etc); don't remember if Sagami was ex. Pobeda or ex. Peresviet!
