That's an interesting direction for the HII 4921. It sort of fits with the thoughts I've been having that they seem to show a different version of the 4921 sub-family at every show.
with the enclosed mast? i agree and i think its alot better then the Spy-5 propsoal it also makes me think what the next iteration of the Agleigh Burke will have. im increasingly in the camp of a new dedicated frigate is needed.

Wait, SPY-5? I haven't seen one with SPY-5. What I have seen is CEARFAR/CEAMOUNT (which is also seen here on the 85 and 1158m Multi-Mission Combatants).
yes sp-5 some one did a shipbucket of it a long time ago. and I belive the CEAFAR system is the American version of it. like the piranha IFV is the Stryker is the US army. but im speculating

CEAFAR and CEAMOUNT are from CEA technologies and used by Australia I am not sure if there is any relationship between it and Raytheon's SPY-5 but what do I know
Great links!

thank you well. i understand that but its like how your new amhpibs were designed by spanish but to be built an Austrailian company needed to create a partnership with Navinata. same thing idk.

Anyway it looks like the biggest thing is that LMCo's naval engineering is smoking lots of good stuff. And the usual off-the-wall sub concept that shows up at these.

I know what SPY-5 is, and I stand by my point that HII hasn't produced a model or a drawing of an SPY-5 equipped frigate, which is what I was objecting to.
