It's a bit large for that. It's got a 65ft wingspan. The 30,000ft service ceiling and 40h endurance might also be a tad extreme.

Awesomesauce. I can remember many moons ago landing one of these on the tops of tower blocks in operation flashpoint... Always been intrigued by the layout of the thing. Also nice Firebird!

Thanks. It's undoubtedly one of the most interesting lightweight aircraft I've ever seen. And apparently they're planning on restarting the production again.

Well I can imagine they would have merit today. They could easily perform tasks such as aerial survey and inspection work a lot cheaper than a helicopter whilst retaining the excellent view.

Yup, that's pretty much what it was designed for. I know it was used by at least one British police department.
In fact in many ways since the Police doesn't need to be able to land anywhere special (Unlike rescue and military operators) it could be considered superior for that application.
