Casablanca or Bogue? Either way, looking good so far!

The file name tells me it's Sangamon. Nice work so far Fred, and I look forward to further progress. :)

One of the best escort carriers around.

Both were single screw ships. The Sangamon were former tankers and had twin screws.
A very good start Fred.

All these lovely drawings of WW2 era carriers lately remind me that I need to work on the ones for my AU at some point

Thanks all. I was trying to use my independence as gas turbineed, but the funnels look odd.
Anyway, can anyone tell me if the big lower 11 holes were obstructed, built in or clear open thru to the other side? Some CVE's had the hanger built well above the tanker hull so the deck was flat and not banana'd.

Thanks
Fred

Some holes were clear and some were obstracted, and it was, as you mentioned, because the hangar was built above the maindeck sheer line, to keep it level.
