some times you have to copy the picture link and open it in a another window before it get visibly in here. Or the upload time on a specific link can be a bit slow!

Or if you have a browser that's worth anything (As in anything that isn't Internet Explorer) you can right click and choose either view image or refresh image.

Quite a potent design. I wonder if, using modern construction techniques, we could get their beam down to fit through the Panama Canal, give them guided missiles, and reduce the necessary crew while increasing their inherent lethality?

Navsource is a bit wonky right now, so I rehosted it on photobucket.

Also, a smaller picture of a double-ended Talos Iowa conversion:

Note that she apparently has two MK11 Tartar launchers.... On EACH side! This would have been a BEAST.

Actually, so did Albany/Chicago/Oregon City.

EDIT: I just realized you mean four total, as opposed to Albany's two total.

1945 and 1948 in the making too, with the aim of making them accurate and on par with the USN unit recenlty seen on the board. With all this output of new accurate parts, I just could not let this chance slip away.

Basing my rework on these: http://www.navsource.org/archives/01/67.htm
Still, being this a USN unit and not an IJN one, I admit my limits by saying that I am the one needing some external help this time, mainly to identifiy exactly some of the smaller equipment (and to confirm and doublecheck through eventual text and documentation what hs been identified by pictures).
