Not sure how gameplay will be, but judging from previous games like world of tanks: it should be awesome.

Judging from games they develop and beta testing now like world of warplanes: it sucks.

WoT works because its relatively basic with simple movement planes. WoWP isn't that good because the controls are poor still, balance isn't right and its all too easy to get nowhere in the game but bankruptcy. WoB will likely be similar due to the complexities of naval combat unless they're clever.

I'll stick to navy field.

Or Battlestations: Midway and Pacific. Great games.

Battlestations: Midway was a great game ... but Pacific was epic fail. Of course in terms of technical side, game was unstable, bugs as hell and in 50% it want even start. I know some copy's that run smooth and nice but my and many others just don't start. Support just say that's my fault ... nothing on spec or something ... but my fault, maybe bad karma or I done some terrible things in past life.

In my case it's the exact opposite, i never plated BS: Midway because no matter how i tried the game do not want to even start, instead Pacific always worked perfectly and without lag, even using a secondhand copy a friend gave me when he lost interest in war themed games and switched to things like world of warcraft and skyrim (every average male here is crazy and addicted with them, while i couldn't care less  )

I liked Midway because it required a bit more skill to land hits, but the scale and new features of Pacific were definitely awesome (plus it had DLC which included the Alaska!!)

For me, both games worked like a charm. No faults whatsoever. When I think of how the controls in WoB is going to be, I think of the Battlestations games; very arcade-ish.

I'm imagining the same thing.
