Following on from drawing the Australian Grimsby's, I've started work on the other classes of pre-war sloops, beginning with HMS Egret:

On the 27th August 1943 while in the Bay of Biscay, HMS Egret was the first vessel to be sunk by a guided bomb when she was struck by a Henschel Hs193.

I'm planning to add the Bittern and Black Swan class sloops here too, time permitting.

Great drawing Rowdy, but I believe you have the wrong director on the bridge.

Thanks everyone :)
@Trojan - I'll make no promises about those classes but if I can find good references for them (or if someone has some handy that they can provide) - and I can find the time - then I'll give them a go.
@Novice - I wasn't sure about the director but I thought I read somewhere it was a modified MkII from the Tribals. If not would you be able to let me know which it should be? I always struggle to find good information regarding what is used :(

Looking very good if you use the same directors that Portsmouth Bill used in his Australian Grimsby’s class you will be sport on
Also here is a link to some drawings - but again just "gilding the lily

Also I have a spare coy of Peter Elliott ALLIED ESCORT SHIPS Of WORLD WAR II of course you would have to "go south of the river to get It" I also have trucks loads of other drawing /photos that I can burn to a CD for the Black Swan Class if you want

Thanks for that Graham, I've updated the director now. Any references you would be able to send me would be greatly appreciated :)
