my current project. when working on the DDV, I also ran against some minor errors in vossiej's burke fix. so, I fixed those first :P

and then, the true reason for this thread, DDV. more data on the individual designs will be edited in when I have time for that again ;)

I also brought my earlier drawings of the flight 3 concepts up to date.

there might be more burkes coming. I will also try to do an update to flight 2A, as relative to the fix vossiej did for DDG-51, it looks kind of bad and this has caused new users some problems in their designs.
btw, please note that this thread is not for the F3 burkes which are in design right now, but for the pre-1990 studies.

hope you like, and please comment ;)

Hmmm, your DDV 8 look strange, a AEGIS ship without SM-2 missile :?:

Note that it doesn't have any SPG-62s.

Great work!

On DDV6 & Flight III level 2; How many VLS cells are there aft? Is there room to move the helo from the pad to the hangar?

on DDV-6 32, on DDV H (which was mislabeled, fixed now) 64.... which would cause problems for helicopter operations, especially with the hangar in the centre like that. note that that is basically the only large difference between F3L2 and DDV H, and it seems to be made on an cost to operational effectiveness analysis
