Probably ... you never know with APDAF. ;) But that 3 years of war, so plenty time to fight with Russians.

There is one way that the Germans could have won WW1 which was that the French where too slow to react or did not have the manpower in place in time.

Or the Russians have other problems in the far east and have to divert their attention.

The one way Germany could have won was to stick to the originaly Schlieffen plan. To have 90% of the army in France and 10% in Russia. Instead of 60-40 that was used in 1914. The original plan was also to attack through Holland. Giving more space to move the troops. Had they done this France would have fallen in 1914 and Britain would be powerless to intervene against anything on continental Europe. Russia would have fallen shortly afterwards.

You can do that if you use your army more offensively.

And Rhade, Russia almost lost the Great Patriotic War if it was not for the winter and Hitler's madness but that's another topic.

One question, would a coastal defense ship fit into Norselands 1920s-1930s Baltic fleet and in the Norwegian fjords? A CDS larger than anything actualy built in any of the Nordic coutnries?

Lost ... why ? they lost Moscow couple of times and that don't break them, as long as Stalin live, soviets live. They won not with cunning, technology or great strategy ... they win because there was always more Russians then bullets to kill them.

I don't know if a CDS would fit well into the Norseland story... Considering that there are very little limitations for the Norseland navy of what I've noticed, you wouldn't need to make a ship like a CDS, which is essentially a compromise type of ship...

They did follow the London naval treaty so as to not attract too much attention. Would`t a CDS sort off fit in there?

Here`s a WIP of an early 1930s CDS made for the Baltics:

CDSs don't make sense if you have a proper blue-water navy. They are defensive only.
