If shipbucket is community, some people is a favor and some against to use the part, the moderation will decide it to put it in the part sheet, but still, all user are open to use it or upgrade it..One thing for sure, I will finish my work, then lets see..
Yup, and all I'm trying to tell you is not to waste your time trying to "improve" all of our work. If everything here is so bad, start your own scale and drawing style and post it somewhere else. This is a place for helpful collaboration, not for someone to come in and change everything to suit their idea of what each system should look like.
As I said before in this post,
http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewto ... 046#p74046, if isn't to improve the parts and draw, I'm not doing nothing here..
The primary purpose should be to draw new ships using the parts we have already created. Where applicable, you can draw your own parts if they haven't been created yet. If you find a part that is thoroughly inaccurate, you should bring it to our attention and we will work for a way to fix it. But redrawing every single part because you are personally unhappy with it is stupid.
As I didn't see any rule by shipbucket forum to ban recreation, I think I'm spend time and drawing skills for the major part of the community yet..
There is no specific rule against redrawing parts, but I'll tell you right now that except for the most egregious cases (where the part is clearly out of scale, incorrectly drawn, or missing important details), we will tell you that redrawing it is not worth your time!
However I'm start fill uncomfortable here with so conservative ideas, but fortunately I was warned to be prepared..
I just don't even know how to respond to this! We have our methods of doing things that we have done for quite some time. No one asked you to come here; you came on your own free will, and frankly if you don't like how we are conducting our business here, then you are free to go somewhere else. Don't be the new guy who shows up and starts telling the senior members what to do. You need to first establish yourself as a productive, friendly and useful member before you can start ordering others around.
Glad to see people with an eye for detail but let's not get crazy.
