Missiles in Shipbucket are deliberately shown out of slightly scale for the sake of detail. I can understand your attempt at maximum realism, but your Harpoon looks almost like a Sea Sparrow. The new launchers look quite jagged as well.

I don't know...mavgaz has even attempted to draw different configurations which have not yet been available, but still are used. I do kinda like these redraws...I may update a bunch of ships with them...wait, don't have time! Still pixelating the Springfield...

It seems like you at least want to contribute, but the last thing we need is another member going bananas over a 1 pixel difference in our drawings. A lot of us have been doing this for an awful long time, so we know what 'works' the best when trying to illustrate small things in an already-small scale. Your Harpoon launchers are an example; we don't really need a new drawing of it... the one we have is fine. Your version is literally 1-2 pixels smaller than the current edition and that's just not worth our time and effort to replace on a bunch of drawings.

As for your redrawing of missiles, well I will direct you to the notice on the missiles sheets that very clearly states that missiles are drawn larger than the scale for detailing purposes.

I know your response will be "I am making it more accurate", but we have rules and standards set in place, and you must follow these guidelines.

Actually, I'm folowing the guide lines..
If you done your homework you would see the Launcher diference is 6 pixels and not 1 or 2.. so..
About the missile, I will put the two draws in the sheet.. the real one and the zoom one for end of discussion, that is for everyone preference..

Edit: sheet was updated.

few notes:
you also haven't done your homework, because the launcher, to be correct, should have an diameter of only 1 black + 1 grey + 1 black : 3 pixels. right now there are 4. you also lack the already existing 30 degrees angle launcher (which is actually the correct height.)
the way you have drawn these, you create black blobs, which are very much forbidden especially ones this large.
while I agree the harpoon canisters are too high and a bit imperfect, I disagree that change is needed, although I do not decide on that, so I leave that to the moderating team to decide.

also, quite a few of the images on this last page have dissapeared.

Thanks for comment acelanceloet..
Actually the canister as 56cm diameter witch represent 3,7 pixels. The launcher has 35 degrees angle witch is the same as the draw..As this blueprint shows..[ img ]
The major error from the old to the new one, is the tube length of the actual one.

According with the outline pixel, I suppose is the "Out" measure to be perceptive in small scale, and the color of the part is the actual measure. other way you will totally colored by back the draw where isn't the correct color.
If is and you defend the opposite, the actual version even have to suffer many rework, all the iron structure must be black, as you said you defend one line tube, etc..

The black blobs are the shadow areas, do you think grey is better to avoid de blobs?

For me this is the best representation possible in so small scale. However I have to make also a correction in the support size, I detect an error after I found the blueprint..I will Update to be perfect..

About the pictures on the last page, wich ones are missing? to me all appear ok..

have fun

Let me Know about the Blobs, before I rework the support.
