Perhaps place the poster at the location of the CoA and switch the Japanese poster with an English version?
The poster in english version would be a fine addition, but unless the poster is drawn according to the rules, don't post it in the CoA forum!
Regarding the vessel; very fine drawing :D

Another well-drawn ship.

I don't want to be a party-pooper but I don't really think film posters count as CoA. We made a big step in admitting CoA but film posters are stretching the limits too far I think.

Yeah, it would probably be better to include a little text underneath the credits line.
Something like "Built for the movie The Sand Pebbles"

The ''build'' this just only for a movie? ;)

Yes. It's a fully working movie prop.

Just a bit of semi-related trivia, the director of this movie, Robert Wise, was rather versatile it seems. He also directed (among other movies) Run Silent Run Deep, West Side Story, The Sound of Music, The Andromeda Strain and the first Star Trek movie.

Great job, Gunship! I saw the movie on TV as a kid and loved it. I used to recreate the river battle hundreds of times in my backyard with cardboard ships and green army men until Sega and soccer took over my childhood
