@Thiel: I'm not so sure about the darker railings. They are currently in the darkest shade I use for that camo. Any darker and they would be nearly indistinguishable from standard railings.

In the meantime, here's the original 1921 version of Emden. That includes four 150mm twin turrets and an additional set of torpedo tubes.

In 1940, it was planned to increase the combat power of Emden. The main guns would have been replaced with four 150mm twin turrets of the same kind as used for the Zerstörer 1936A-class. Also, an additional 88mm and two 37mm Flaks would have been installed. The places for the main guns would have been obvious, but I had to reduce the superstructure a little bit. The additional 88mm I placed on an extended platform, similar to the previous modification. For the two 37mm, I chose singles and placed them on the old forward positions of the 150mm singles.


This is the last 'real' version of the Emden. I'll be doing one last, 'possible' version of a 'could be' 1945 refit, which should not be taken as fact value. After this, all necessary versions will be collected in the first post, together with a little history of the ship.
