Ah that makes more sense now, thanks for posting the missing parts of the report.
Steadiness is borderline but survivability looks good as does the rest of the sea keeping. Quite a heavy loading but it shows there to work out fine so I'll accept that with ease.

Just a little something I've been fiddling with. Don't really want to get too deep into my current CV project at the moment because I can't really devote the time necessary to do it right until after our convention madness this coming weekend, but I had to draw something, so a small ASW frigate seemed to fit the bill.

Not anywhere near finished yet, and there may be significant changes, depending on the comments and suggestion I get. As has become standard for me, I'm not real happy with how the con has been turning out, but I'm sure by the time I finish it will look more like a proper conning tower and less like a box of cheerios.

Maybe I am completely wrong here but isn't that radar a bit expensive and over kill for a ship that does not have a medium range air to air missile. ALso are you thinking about giving the ASROC a reloader or leaving as is?

I'd also look at something other than the SPS-48 as your radar. It's a big 3D set, and was mostly used on major surface assets (cruisers, carriers, large deck amphibs, later air warfare destroyers). For this ship I'd recommend either a smaller 3D set (SPS-52), or a 2D set (SPS-40 or -49).

I'll try to think of more later.

Quite possibly, yes. Do you have a suggestion as to a better alternative? Seriously, I am open to any and all recomendations for electronics gear. :D

I was figuring on vertical reload, unless thats not really practical.

It might be a bit tight on the hull, but it should work:

Aw, crap. That is the -48. I grabbed the wrong one off the parts sheet, I was going for the -52. Thats what happens when you don't pay attention and two different sets are similar in appearance.

Dont' fret, for we all make those kind of mistakes.

Quick opinion question before I go to bed... Which would be more practical/efficient for an ASW frigate such as this, early/mid 80's vintage? The BPDMS like I have on there now, or a Phalanx CIWS?
