Yes I know if it was in the real world but the world that Britannia is in some of it can be coincided steampunkesk in it's workings and size.

That doesn't make any sense especially considering that it lacks any visual impact other than what you're arbitrarily claiming.

Do I have to justify everything I do?

APDAF, that's what ship-designing is. Everything on a ship is made in a way for a reason. Anything that takes space on a ship has to be justified, otherwise you would just remove it in favor for something else.

It's better, no. Everytime you try to justify one of yours ... ideas you flounder in this to the point of absurd.

A bump but a good one.

New.

Old.

As you can see I have redone the superstructure and added a director tower insted of having a director on x/c turret.

Only thing that strikes me as relly urgent is that the A and X turrets are very close to the superstructure. Move them away with 5-10 pixels.
Also, what's up with all the space behind B turret? Methinks you could move the hole superstructure forward a bit by removing that open space.
And, a smaller detail: How come you never have you flag flying of the stern, like most ships, instead of that little flagpole on the middle of the quarterdeck?
I would also like to compliment your new superstructure. While it's still very blocky, it is a step into the right direction! :)

You are improving a lot, very close to actually being there, but the stern gallery and anchors still look cartoonish.

Hmm.... it's getting there.
~What Klags and KHT said.
~Spotting tops look a bit on the short side. They should be at least 15 pixels tall.
~Funnels look just a little bit too small. Bring them up, say 10 or so pixels, and stretch them out a few as well.
~The armor belt is still a little big, thin it down a bit.
Looking improved, fix these things and then we can talk shading.
