after some sailing ships for ADU, I thought doing a real one as well. so..... here it comes ;)

still WIP, but I thought showing you the process....
colouring and shading will all still change, I am now just defining all parts and details.

Great to see that one, I'm looking foward to see here done! We the people whish don't know. We have build her at a full scale replica at Lelystad, also the Zeven Provincien we be built at the same local yard! she made various voyeges on own power, like to Japan!!

Aren't the top masts too thin?
IMO thin 1-pixel lines are better for depicting cables or steel tubes or something like that because that's exactly how they look right now: you cant't tell they're wooden.

still working on them.... but if I make them 3 pxl, then the lower masts have to be 10 pixels thick to show the comparative size. as the upper masts are mostly flagpoles, so it shouldn't be an problem to make them this way

EDIT: the masts should be 2 pxl thick..... but even then, they don't look wooden. and then I get black pixel fields..... is this allowed?

I already started with the next sailing ship project: the brig of war 'Irene'
