Good point. So the development of the jet engine would have to start properly early too. 1942 ok, but for a prototype.

If Yes, You can use it, free of charge. ;) (But You'll have to refine it a bit, as it may not be drawn 100% to SB standards and hull is probably too shallow by some 2-3 pixels)

Remember about side floats (retractable, on wingtips, for example), plus the engine looks bit thin.

Not that kind. Like the ones on the big flying boats, only small and retractable. This type of sponson: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... lipper.jpg. Engines has been made thicker.

They have some + on larger flying boats, extra lift ect. But that will not work on such small plane, you just don't need that. ;)
