important things to note, IMO:
- the lack of phalanxes
- the fact she still carries the SPG-62 in the same quantity
- she seems to be using SPY-1 (or an updated version fitted in the same space and array shape)
- mast, hangar and midship sections seem unchanged
- there seem to be no harpoon canisters fitted.....
- weapons setup seems otherwise unchanged from the latest batch of burkes
this suggests that:
- hull remains unchanged
- no RAM or other CIWS planned

That looks pretty sweet. The lazy ass seaman should have struck those liens below decks before they got on station though.

there are 2 open places in front of the ship and the aft which are entirely open and serve no function IMO they could be used a CIWS platforms

you mean the forward spots, which is actually an CIWS platform on the original DDG-51 class, and the genset uptakes aft on the hangar?
