Sorry Bill. You are right of course ,I got mixed up with one of the other ships of the class. On page 207 of Friedman's book there is a picture of HMS Whitby, which clearly show the bed-plates for the the torpedo-tubes, but no torpedoes. So, My mistake.

Thanks, but the Plymouth is represenative of that latter class, and as such is all I'm planning to do; but I'll do other versions: RN, RNZN, Indian, South African. Also,when I feel inspired, a 'never built' modernised version. Due to illness I haven't been very active lately(apart from various rants :lol: ) and I'm away from Friday for three weeks vacation :)

It does look somewhat weird, more of a purplish hue than any of the other British warships I've seen on the bucket.

Have a good vacation, and yes I believe going north is always a good idea (in the summer, that is).
Hoping to see the other versions too, and maybe some what-if types.
