Overall it looks good, but I have to say the Bofors is dragging it down. It just seems crude compared to the rest of the drawing.
Yes, and same from Hood; for some reason I was copying a version from another drawing; whereas there is perfectly servicable one already - so I'll swap it
A gem of a drawing Bill, but I believe HMS Whitby was completed with the 21" ASW torpedo tubes known as 'Bidder'. One twin revolving mounting and four single tubes fixed at an angle.
I've checked my sources (Marriot & Freedman), and the Whitby and Torquay never received the torpedo tubes; and as we know the ones that did had them removed, and though there aren't many photo's of the early commisoned Whitby, non show her with the tubes
