and now I get the lack of comments on my other ships.... it's not only about how good you are drawing, but also what you are drawing
Well, if its AU stuff, I leave it alone unless it looks do-able. And you seem o.k. with the Dutch ships, and that's not my area anyway. Put simply: if I see somebody attempting something I'm already interested in I'll do my best to help, and that's no negative reflection on whatever else they may be working on. Also, if you don't make a decent version of the Castle I will do my own later ;)

A well-done Castle will be 'awesome' (translation: 'rather nice') make no mistake :D I sort of admire your taking it on while having the 'Grey Funnel Line' mafia watching your progress - so good luck and a steady eye ;)

Ace I just hope you don't foul it up, as I'm quite sure you can do it justice (translate "do a good job, so the'Grey Funnel Mafia' will smile on your work")

If you look at the drawings: the funnel is not attached to the deck houses either side; the lattice mast should be more symmetrical; the superstructure around the Squid needs more work - it does not fully correspond to the drawings. That apart you seem to be taking this slowly, which is commendable :)

all true, will fix. I am working on some other projects and the dutch parts sheet, and school is beginning to take a lot of time again, so it won't go that fast.....
all in front of the mast (and the mast itself) is still from before I got some better reference drawing here, so indeed there are a lot of mistakes over there...... I will work on that soon.

I would suggest raising the lower portholes near the waterline by 1 pixel.
Coming along nicely, we await the finished product with eagerness!
