New computor...new versions of MSpaint and such...haven't figured out how to turn the bloody anti-aliasing off yet.

The boat-like gondola is actually the one they settled on, the aircraft style was pretty much only used on the early ones. Yeah, it probably is a bit heavier, but for some reason, in the real ones, it seems to have increased performance. go figure.

I believe that some airships (both blimps and rigid-hull) have been drawn before, and I must say that it's good to have more of them. :)

Zephyr, I'm assuming you've got Win7 paint. To turn off Anti-alias, you have to open up your performance option tab and click off 'Smooth edges of Screen Fonts', which will turn off Anti-alias for the entire computer.

Yeah, I think this one has win7 paint. not sure which older version I had before. one techie question though.... I can't find a "performance option tab". yes, I am technically challenged.

Windows 7 has it in a bit of a different place on my machine.

Control Panel > Displace > Adjust ClearType Text

This could be the perfect time to change to paint.net

This I agree with. Paint.net offers a lot of extra features that make layouts and redesigns easier.

ok, downloaded paint.net. I'll have to play with it for a bit to get the feel for it, but I don't miss my dead photoshop6 on my dead computor now quite as much as I was.

still trying to get used to this new keyboard though, so if you see odd extraneous letters and the like, its just my chubby fingers not quite hitting where I want them to. ;)

Alrighty then. I'm about to re-re-start work on the HMS Titania aircraft carrier, now renamed the HMS Centaur. The first time I started work on the Titania my external hardrive died. The second time I started on the Titania my whole computor died. So I got a new computor. I am about to start yet again, so I just wanted to let y'all know ahead of time that if I suddenly disappear from the internet, it's because my new computor has probably exploded.
