:) My wife wasn't so impressed by the 4 hours of "Kustflottan" movies I watched yesterday, except the live firing drills with Sverige ships from the 1920s, with the crew in white summer uniforms.

I'd missed the Gotland, a really excellent drawing, and such an historic warship :)

Yes, really nice update and nice to see the modern detailed SB style merging so nicely to your style.

Here we go again, almost completeing the line of swedish cruisers. The most beutiful of them all. The HMS Fylgia, built in 1907, as the worlds smallest armoured cruiser. She made good and long service on the seven seas as a midshipman traningship.

She was laid up in 1934 for the reserve fleet but as war broke out she was hastily modernized. She served in here new ugly apperence for another 10 years before was used as a target and sold for scrap during the 1950s.

as built

after the brutal rebuild in 1940.

well ive always liked the rebuild looks of Fylgia for some reason, it was kinda odd looking relic from Pre-dreadnougth era with modern (30's-40's) guise with really little of his contemboraries doing the same.

Regardless both drawings are attractive
