The Dutch parts sheet has some good gunfire control systems that will suit your needs. Here's the link:
viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1307

Any of the systems at the bottom of the lefthand column of the sheet would be good enough for your OPV. There are some electro-optic ones and electro-optic/radar ones.

BTW, what kind of gun is that on the bow of your OPV? I don't recognize it. Is it your own design?

I used to use a google pages account, but I've started using a dropbox account (the first two gigs are free). I upload the images, copy the direct link, and then post that inside of the image tags.

Your gunfire control on the OPV is great, but I would have left your original search radar on top of the mast. That's a decent medium-range search and surveilence radar. Your sensor suite on the coast guard ship looks pretty good. I'd add some satelite comm systems too. Those are usually just plain white domes. They're under I-MAST SatComs on the same Dutch parts sheet. I'd put one or two of the smallest ones on each vessel wherever they'll fit. Modern naval vessels you see have satcom antennae domes all over them because that's their main method of communications these days.

So true. My first design and you came up with my achilles heel.
Well that's exactly why the parts sheet exists.

When in doubt, look up a ship with a similar mission and use the radar sets there (don't just copy the masts willy-nilly though). Or better yet do exactly what you did and people who know radars will help. But that first piece of advice is a nice beginner's start.

Either way I'm impressed with the hull form in the first place, that's an excellent start. Looking forward to other vessels.

Now as for the second set of drawings they look great - but why do you have two radar masts on your coast guard vessel when one of the masts sits completely empty?

yeah, this is the danger of people who are new giving knowledge to other beginners. the radar fit you have now makes about as less sense as the previous one.
you will need an (cheap) surface search radar, preferably with an air search build in. 2D radar is enough, but you can always go for an more expensive system like SMART-S. you will need this on both versions
on the gun version, will also need an director. LIROD is the best for this, STIR 120 is a bit more capable.
I leave satcoms and all for later, as I am kinda busy.

Yeah, your current host is re-saving the images as jpeg while keeping the extension the same. It generates a fuzziness that looks bad.

I look forward to seeing your further work.

Good, i see progress here. At least, now i know how to show images like the rest of the forum. Thanks Timothy.
I made some modifications, and add the com system. SMART radar in boths, and the gun director was there previously.
Make some changes too in the little machine gun (own design) and put one of them in the Coast Guard of Prefectura, to control little fishing boats.
The Congress of the new Republic also vote for the name: Republic of Patagonia. (where i born)

problem: on the above one, the radar cannot rotate, and it has an huge blind spot. better put it on top of the mast, and loose the satcom for now.
