When RHAF was interested for the P6M back in 1965,THK AU aquired several P5 Marlin (number varies, but correct number is around 20) and received also a large number of S-2A/E Tracker (>60 total) from 1969-1980.Some S-2E were modified to Turbo Tracker and replaced by a license variant of C-295 Persuader in mid 2000s.The Marlin was disappeared from Aegean sky in early 1990s.Then only 3-4 were airworthy and flying rarely, since all other airframes were cannibalised.THK use some F-16 in antiship role with AGM-84 Harpoon, some sources say also that some F-4ET modified for the airlaunched variant of Sea Lance as RN did in F-4K.
My question is why couldn't you follow through with this logical thinking for the Hellenic Forces in the first place instead of trying to shoe-horn un-optimized leased airframes?

For which airframes do you say?If you refer to P-3B,they were purchased in my scenario, not leased.

What if Turks chose the Type22 frigate instead of MEKO 200?The program is similar with the real, but they have now 10 frigates instead of 8.Main difference is that these ships powered by General Electric turbines instead of English ones.
-I plan to do the Sea Skua equipped AB-212.
-Could a Type 22 accomodate 2 AB-212 in her hangar?
-Can they have General Electric turbines?

4 CIWS I think is too much especially for a ship this size and I'm not sure if the 4.5 in MK.8 (IIRC possibly wrong name) can fit there only on the lengthened Batch 3 it can
plus the Type22 were designed simply as ASW ships for the Atlantic and I'm not sure if that really suits Turkish strategy
I think the Lupo and Kortenaer class are much better options if your not gonna buy MEKO

Yeah, 4 CIWS systems is way too many. Aircraft carriers and battleships have that many, not frigates. And actually, the Batch III Type 22s had Mark 8 guns on the bow (although not quite in that spot). You're right, the Type 22 was designed as an ASW platform, but it turned out to be a decent general purpose frigate. It was used fairly well as a makeshift AAW platform during the Falklands War with its Seawolf missiles (usually teamed up with a Type 42 destroyer with Sea Dart missiles), however, I think the Sea Sparrows on Turkey's MEKO's makes a much better PDMS than the Sea Wolf. I agree, I'd go with a different ship for Turkey's needs, but I think the Type 22 could handle the job.

The more or less informal USN mandate that carriers and battleships carry four CIWS systems, destroyers two and so on is for the most part arbitrary. But the idea is to ensure that the ship has adequate coverage but doesn't tack on waste and inefficiency by having more than that. The most practical way to decide is to look at your ship from a top-down perspective and place two systems at each end. The way you tell if you need more is if your ships is actually wide enough (like a carrier) that you can't adequately cover the entire width of a ship.

Or just stick with two, is what I'm saying.

In this scenario,RHN AU has more submarines than real,10 Glafkos/Zwaardvis and 2 Triana (Tench-M) in Aegean, plus 2 more Tench-H,plus 4 Tench-M in Black Sea.So,if you want to counter these threat, you need an ASW frigate.

-CIWS:MEKO 200TN has three Sea Zenith, one front and two each side,so this the Type22TN will have also three (both ships are 14.8m wide).Done
-Can a Mk45 replace the Mk8?Or stick with an Oto Melara 76 as Elli Class?
-First 4 (F240-F243) could have the Sea Wolf, rest 6 the Sea Sparrow and retroffited later to all.

Hmm, not sure if the Mk45 could replace the Mark 8. I'd pull the below-deck parts of the USN parts sheet and see if they fit within your bow. My first guess, is yes, the Mk 45 will fit there. Your shortened Type 22 bow isn't much smaller than a MEKO 200 bow, and a lot of MEKO 200s have the Mk 45.
