You could however go for four Hispanos and two .50s if you mounted the .50s in the engine cowling like the various hawks. That would be quite a combination or four .50s and two Hispanos.

But what about ammo, I think it's better to have maybe 2x20mm in wings ... 120 rounds for cannon and 2x12,7mm in the engine cowling like Blackbuck said with 250-300 round. That will give you a fighter with weapons on pair with Spitfire Mk XIV and Me-109.

Yeah you can have 4 cannons, but in 1941 "all cannons" fighter was not a popular idea. Most of them use machine guns as primary weapon and one or two cannons as secondary, first spit have how many ... 8 MG?
