I intend to try to draw the current RNLI fleet (but not until after exams finish at university in a few weeks), but I'm happy for anyone to have a go to speed up the process, or to draw lifeboats from other countries. I'd love to see some KNRM and USCG vessels in particular! Other than my CB90, I haven't really had much experience of drawing boats, so I welcome any constructive criticism of how I can improve, or you can make changes to my drawings and add your credits.

I've made a start with the not yet in service RNLI Shannon Class lifeboat currently undergoing trials. It began as the FCB2 experimental lifeboat project and should begin replacing the Mersey Class lifeboats in 2013.

I think someone has done a couple in SB-scale; if more than one person is to be drawing lifeboats, it may be wise to standardise RNLI colours.

I used the RNLI colour palette here. Maybe that would be the best standard to follow, but I'd welcome other suggestions if any have been done already.

I think I remember seeing your SB scale NSSR drawings, but not any FD. Feel free to post FD scale here so all the lifeboats are in one thread.

I have the KNRM boats on my 'very optimistic future' wishlist for FD, and have done all the current ones in sb scale. if someone else want to tackle the KNRM boats, feel free to do so, but take in mind that you'll have to work from pics: references, if any, are small and low quality.
at your lifeboat: I would like some more shading to show the hull shape and the fender shape. also, I have doubts about the mast being so thin, and it would look better in black anyways. a bit darker colours for the bends in the shape to distinguish them from the detailing would help too.

EDIT: ow and I would love to see these being done in sb scale too ;)
