A post war modification of the standard C2 type cargo ship for Grace Lines' South American route, gave the ships accommodation for 52 passengers as well as ample cargo space.

The first passenger ships built right after WW2 were the 3 Del ships of the Mississippi Shipping (known as Delta Lines). These ships were conversions of C3 hull specially designed. The ships had air-conditioned accommodations, a novel feature at that time, a swimming pool and quite large cabins, which were a far cry from pre-war ships.

SUN FLOWER TSUKUBA a classic Japanese ferry of today!

This lady purchased by Greek company ANEK Lines in 2007 and after a big reconstruction transformed to a beautiful ferry according to Greek and European standards

Great Job Navarchos, you did her proud! And for those wondering if the bridge is in the right place: yes, they really did lift it and move it forward! I have the pics to prove it :D

EDIT: she was named SUN FLOWER TSUKUBA, not TSUBUKA.
