One thing I've noticed, and it's only a minor issue: I'd recommend that you use the RHIB that I drew for the types 22-23. I used photographic evidence to get their shape and overall appearance correct. The one your using here, just doesn't look right.
But like I said: it's a minor issue in a whole that just looks awesome throughout!

She was surprisingly under gunned for her large size. No SSM capability. Also interesting that she didn't get Phalanx after the Falklands, like the Type 42's.

The Sea Dart did have limited surface to surface capability. When used that way it was all kinetic force, the warhead would not arm.

A bigger problem was the lack of a hangar for a helicopter. On such a large hull space should have been available. Most of the Bristol's weapons and a helicopter hangar fit on the smaller Type 42 destroyers.

...Which, notably, were so much too small for their combat system that they were first lengthened and then externally reinforced to hold together.

It's not all fun and games! Hull size isn't entirely defined by how many items one feels can be packed along the centerline.

I didn't mean to imply that the Type 42 was a wonderful design, only that more thought might have produced a design that could accomodate a helicopter. Given the Rube Goldberg hangar arrangements on the County Class, you would have thought they could have come up with some hangar arrangement.

I expect the hull size was dictated by the combined steam and gas turbine propulsion, not the weapons and sensors.

I also thought that the reason for lengthening the Type 42s was that they were wet boats, and adding to the bow length made them better sea boats.

I've updated the above drawing with a newer RHIB, thanks bezo, it was a great idea, the old one does look a little odd.
