Shipbucket

The Brazilian Navy has a river monitor in service now that was first commisioned into their Navy in 1938. It received a major upgrade/modernization in 1998-99 that replaced the old reciprocating machinery with diesels, added a helicopter landing pad, and changed the armament fit. And here's my drawing ... Comments? I didn't have a definitive line drawing of the modernized vessel, so I kind of built it from the pictures I could find. Do you include the helicopter if the ship does not have hangar facilities (i.e. its just a landing pad)? Is the correct letter designator for a river monitor RM or do you use BM for all monitors? By the way, the thing behind the float near the bow appears to be some kind of tubular framework holding an antenna in the pictures, AFAIK, not sure if that should just be left off.
There are other, more modern river monitors/patrol boats in several South American Navies, are they suitable for ShipBucket - or is this site more focused on ocean going ships only?

We love all kinds of vessels from ocean going battlewagons to Admiral's launches. Anyting you wish to draw to fill out the real ships section of Shipbcket is more than welcome.

The rule with helicopters is; display them above the ship if there is no hangar, one the helipad if there is a hangar. Stick to that and you can't go wrong.

What kind of gun does it have on the fo'c'sle?

3-inch, IIRC. *checks* Yup, 3-inch gun.

I got the bow 3"/50 off of Nighthunter's DE-44. Does that mean I should give him a credit on the author's line? I am a noob here and do not want to make a faux pas. I got lucky on the helicopter placement. If you use aything from a drawing (not a parts sheet), do you need to cite the source?
