$750 for one that was a bit beat up, not really a problem as I plan to refinish the stock anyway. The steel looked a bit weathered but it will be fine. August of 1944 barrel date, made by High Standard Mfg. Co., late serial number (above 1 million) from Springfield Armory.

Should make a nice shooter!
