Yeah, this is actually a never-were of Erikrike. Designed in 1911, and authorized in 1914, but cancelled the same year before being laid down. It was judged that priority should be directed towards ships able to be finished quicker.
Inspiration for this ship comes mainly from the German König class battleship.
After the arrival of the Dreadnought many countries would consider similar designs, even ones as small as Erikrike. In 1908 the latest CDSs was finished, but they would never be able to match the new demands.
Several designs was considered, with calibers from 240-305 mm and deplacement from 10 000-18 000. In the end, the decided design weighted 15 000 tonnes and was armed with ten 240mm/50 in five two-gun turrets, and armour to match. Her speed of 24,4 knots would not be able to keep up with the battlecruisers of the greater navies, but it was the best that could be made within sensible parameters.
In the end, the armoured cruiser, supposed to be named after the saint Erik Jedvardson would be cancelled in favour for designs that would be completed before the Great War's end. This descission would later be questioned, but no similar design would be authorized, then or later.

Looks similar in idea to the early dreadnought concept I have for Sieran which exists only as three different Springsharp reports still. I do like the overall look of it too. The spotting tower on the foremast looks like it needs additional stanchions to support the roof and the turrets perhaps could have a little more detail but other than that I reckon it looks good.

They actually had a name for "Superdreadnought Armored Crusiers"

The reason I didn't call it "battlecruiser" is that it's not really fullfilling the requirement in armament for being a full-blown battleship/cruiser. It's more similar to an armored cruiser, but it's modelled after a superdreadnought.
Had I viewed this as a battlecruiser, I would of cource have named it so.

*shrug* looks fine to me. Plus you still had battleships in 1914-1915 with 12-inch rifles though I don't know if any were being laid down.

Battlecruisers i have read were considered to by some to be the ultimate carnation for an armored cruiser but considering this is closer to Blucher (which is arguably a battlecruiser too) than Invincible I think your description of it is correct

Agincourt was completed in 1914 with 12", as was Argentina's Rivadavia and the Austrian Viribus Unitas class, off the top of my head.

I don't really understand how 12" rifles enter into this. This ship only carries 9,45", which is the main reason I didn't name her a full battlecruiser. Thank you! Since Erikrike is so small, ships - not even never-weres - can be very large now can they? I've set up some limits in cost and deplacement which I don't want to break to bad, so I have to keep it fairly small.

Oh, I just assumed they were 12's. And you can make an argument that Blucher was a hybrid between an armored cruiser and a battlecruiser - but it'd be more technically classified an armored cruiser.

Reading the historical text (in italic) always helps.
With 12" guns this ship would be outrageously expensive for a small nation such as Erikrike.
