I need help designing a flag for my new AU, The Republic of Unified Korea. I don't know much about what would go into something like that, so any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the basic rundown, it's one year from now, the norths falling apart. The south and the us enact OPLAN 5029 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OPLAN_5029), invade the north, secure its nuclear weapons, and unify Korea.

In that case, there isn't much to think about. It would be simply current South Korean flag, or perhaps slightly different flag of Korean Empire (on which the current flag is based) - their basic design being generally a traditional flag of Korea.

Even though the reverse is more likely to happen when China and possibly Russia get involved. [/off topic]

Given Russian-Chinese relations I sincerely doubt if Russia would get involved. China is much more of a toss-up, especially if North Korea attacks first.

Well in this particular case, China doesn't get involved. Also, I found this kind of interesting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_Unification_Flag
