The CAPTOR option is really meant to just be I guess the ultimate radar Jag namely just ending the lineage of the Blue Fox/Vixen line. Over-wing hardpoints are still catered for though not shown. Both drawings have an enlarged dorsal spine carrying different/extra avionics and EW systems as well as some 320 extra litres of fuel. The hardpoint embedded FLIR could be removed from the GR.7, the IRST being capable of the same job. They'd both be wired to be able to carry smart weapons on all hardpoints except the wing-tip and over-wing stations which are reserved exclusively for AAMs. ADENs and DEFAs can still be retrofitted if desired, I went along the 27mm route as that is what I use in all of my AU aircraft. The scabbed on designator pod is located centrally under the nose and is capable of both illuminating and tracking existing laser targets. The cockpits would have received a revamp with three instead of one MFD replacing some of the analogue instruments. I'd estimate a retirement period between 2015 and 2020 for them.

Tally ho! ~Mark.

Simply awesome, Mark. I like it and will be using them for the DCAF fighters. Thanks again!

People wanted it in FD scale, I started doing it a while back and never finished but here it is, reasonably complete I think.

Last one for today. Based very loosely upon DP's Block 40, modified into the form factor of the F-2/Agile Falcon to represent the stable mate to the FA-15 in Atlantian service. The EW spine and CFTs aren't the existing RL ones so don't take them to be scaled as such.

Spec wise they're floating somewhere between the F-2 Kai, F-16I and F-16E/Fs. The two-seater and naval variants will follow.

Would like to see someone do a Sukhoi Su-35 in RAAF/RAN colours. We should have bought them as our front line fighter with Australian avionics.
