Something not very known about the Titanic is that the fourth funnel was actually a giant ventilator for the engineroom.

I thought that is a common knowledge among ship lovers. Ships like the S.S. Normandie also have that design onboard and the third funnel of Normandie is a storage for deck chairs and other things IIRC

In the Normandie the third funnel was also the location of the dog kennel if I remember correctly.

The THEODOR HERZL, JERUSALEM and ZION were lovely little ships, built as war reparations for Israel by the Germans. They had very modern interiors designed by Israeli artists. Many of these ships played a pioneering role in Caribbean cruising.
