Yeah, I know I allready gave some information in the Gotrige thread, and that the "story" is the same, but I'm using this thread more to make a list for any ships that I plan for the Erikrike royal navy, during different time periods.
So, background story:
After the crushing defeat at the Battle of Lena, the forces of Erik and Folkung fled north, were they would settle down north of Mälaren, and eventually spread out.
Gotrige would never really do anything about their northern neighbor, as it would remain little more than a gruop of warring fiefdoms, never posing a real threat.
In the late 15th century however, a man supposedly the bastard descendant of Erik Jedvardson(St. Erik)would manage to unite the fiefdoms in an uneasy alliance. It would take another 150 years before it had been forged into one single nation.
Becouse of understandable reasons, they would never try to pester their southern heir-nemesis, which was just spreading it's wings.
Instead they would go northwards, and later east. A few brilliant kings and generals had soon managed to expand the nations border.
By the 18th century, Erikrike was a relatively strong state, which would now have close contact, and somewhat of a younger sibbling relation to Gotrige. The latter would also often give aid in shipbuilding and the like.

UPDATE:
I've added some notes in the last post, setting some limits for size of ships etc.

Looks like quite a balanced Navy in my opinion. Only recomendation I have is that you have some form of patrol vessel (even if it's just a modified minesweeper) to allow you to police your territorial waters without needing to use the short range expensive destroyers for a task they were not designed for. Sieran for example uses the Chukchi class wooden minesweepers as patrol craft (as well as for sweeping and training) and in the Summer months a few icebreakers may serve in that duty as well.

Ok, I'll be seeing what I can do about that.

Well I suppose they wouldn't technically have to be full Naval vessels, just something that can be built cheaply and loiter out at sea for decently long periods. The Chuckchis are tiny and compact with only a single 3in QF gun for armament but as they have efficient steam boilers and simple reciprocating engines, they can remain at sea for at least two weeks at low cruising speeds (weather dependent of course). Perhaps a couple Chuckchis could even be acquired as trial vessels?

Hm, yes maybe. I'll have a crack at any smaller patrool crafts once I'm done with the current designs I'm already working on; the large minelayer á four 5" and some smaller destroyers.

Sounds like a good idea. One good idea to consider is to have them able to be built by smaller shipyards that normally build only for example coastal traders or fishing vessels in order to free up your naval yards for your cruisers. Sieran does that with the Chuckchis and whilst there's been issues with inappropriately treated timbers in some vessels, it did allow for the construction of the much needed cruisers and destroyers.

And here is the Chuckhi drawing again in case you wish to design a version of one as in Erikrike service;

Ah, thanks! :D We'll see if I use the actuall Chuckhi, but it will be a great help to use it to get some ideas either way :D

No worries. Basically a good patrol craft should be compact and easy to build, driven by very efficient machinery and with good loiter time. Seakeeping ability is also important considering the vessels need to be stable in rough weather for tasks such as coming alongside fishing vessels and whatnot. Utility is also a good feature. The Chukchis double as small minesweepers and training vessels as well as patrol, allowing the overall types in the Navy to be kept as small as possible.

While being irresponsible and for the momment holding of making improvements on ships already posted, I'm currently hammering out a few designs.
Ship(class(e)s that are at least at the SS-stage:
2 Coastal Defence Ships á 7500 tonnes and two 12"/305mm (nearly complete drawing, plans for a very extensive 1930s modernation for one of them)
2 Armored Cruisers á 5 800 tonnes and six 6,7"/170mm (Only springsharped at the momment).
1 Large Minelayer á 2 400 tonnes, four 4,7"/120mm and 400-ish mines (half-drawn)
12 Coastal Destroyers á 630 tonnes and two 4,1"/105mm(3/4 finished)
