I would suggest to PB to change the name from M.V. into MY (or M.Y. ...Personally I prefer without points)

Will do, and being a 'newbie' to civilian registered ships, I wasn't sure what to use :)

I've refreshed the darwing to reflect the changes:

New Bridge front
Change of hull colour
Reduce draft by 2 pixels
New title
New shading on aft vent stack (thanks Charybdis)
Some other minor tweeks.

I think now she looks better, and a bit closer to Chrybdis' :)

Charybdis, Portsmouth, excellent work the two of you did. Both drawings may differ but neither pales in comparison to the other. :)

Thanks for the nice comments but as agreed, PB gets preference over mine as he was already working on her. Thanks also to Bezobrazov for being a gent :) PB's version is much more detailed than mine. I love the boats and the gangway is a nice touch. I was working from photos and none of them were exactly side on so my mast looks a bit swept back.

Is there a ship bucket rule for naming the country? Is it current flag or country of construction? I might need to alter a few things...

Blimey :o Not bad then, considering I did have a drawing to work to; and likewise, my thanks to Bezo for his genorisity. Anyway, I'm glad you like it, and I've used a few of your improvements on the end result :)

I'm glad I some good came from my blunder...

I've changed the countries to current flag and I aslo came across a rule for helos on deck/hanger so I've changed that for LGB. I also saw a threat for having the drawing in correct root folder... does that mean I create folders on my hard drive i.e. Real Designs/Cayman Islands/Le Grand Bleu?

I thought I would start a couple of yachts. This is MY GOLDEN ODDESSY, by Blohm & Voss.
