I actually got my hands on Faltum's book on the Independence-class CVL about a week or so ago and have his volume on the Essex-class CV. Man, the things you can find in a second-hand bookstore...

Yea I love book shops too! I always try to do not enter second-hand book shops, they have too, too much for me!

Given that some of the books I've been after are no longer being published, a second-hand store (such as Half Price Books) is pretty much the best option for me.
