from now on, I will post every step of all my ships so that anyone can tell me whats wrong, so it doesn't affect the rest of the ship. Erik_t gave me an Idea to base my ships off of ones that already exist(ed). This one is called the KES Saestrii, based of the Graf Zeppelin german aircraft carrier.

Some sort of super large CV? You may want to shorten the hull and remove the Ski Jump.
BTW, what's the time period of this ship?

ok, thanks. I will shorten it. heh, Sky jump. for some reason I put it there like on the Russian Aircraft carriers. I based it off the Graf Zeppelin, so it is in the same time period.

one problem: you still do. look at the huge draft you have now, and the low freeboard you have fore and aft, and .....
using the lenght of an real ship is easy. but there are a lot more dimensions you have to keep an eye on, and you have to look at real ships to get it somewhat realistic until you are experienced enough to guestimate parts like that ;)

To me that looks like a good realistic start, apart from the quite excessive length. Don't forget (at this stage it's very important) to work out where your decks are going to be, and draw them. This will show you where to have machinery, scuttles and pretty much everything else.

Two other things: you need to use an image hosting site instead of attaching files to your post, and I would remove that Graf Zeppelin from the drawing now, at least when posting here. It's irrelevant and more importantly, uncredited.

For example Majhost is a good hosting site. Thiel has provided a tutorial:
