This is my first ship design that is not a massive kitbash. Not really sure of the specific role of the ship.

It wouldn't; it'd be unnecessary anyway with the existing integrated mast. The flight deck also looks unlikely, as does, well, everything else.

Remove the cupola and place the APAR on top of the I-mast. Looks better.

LoL guys, This is just a standard I-mast, no APAR mast xD

That ''thing'' onfront is APAR but why do you want it..?

fact is, that it is (most likely) that the I-mast 400 and 500 can not guide ESSM and similar missiles, only gun, in the 'standard' setup. of course the I-mast can be fitted with any radar you want, but as it is right now, you will need something like SEAPAR..... but this is an very bad position for it, in effect you'd better replace it with an STIR 180.
the field of vision for the I-mast is even worse, you really should put it on the same level as the seapar: the field of vision to the water is limited and the air search is blocked by goalkeeper and SEAPAR respectively.

It's nowhere near as bad as some beginner drawings I've seen but it could do with some work. For starters I'd move the mast forward and up for a better field of view, extend the hull rearwards to enlarge the helipad, add some sort of funnel arrangement because at the moment I can't actually see one and maybe move the 76mm forward a few pixels away from the VLS.

Maybe cut down a little on the structure over the bridge.

I'll move the I-Mast to where the SEAPAR is now, replace the SEAPAR with STIR 180, lengthen the helipad, and place funnel where the I-Mast is now. Better?
