Fort Victoria was fitted with her Radars at Launch. If you do an image search for the class on google top down images show where the VLS system is its in the RAS control centre midships with the Radars on top of the Bridge and Hangar. I would sugest they would also have acquired Phalanx and have identified where I would mount them with the VLS sea wolf. When I did the original ones on the old site I put one of them armed and will do the same as soon as I can sort out the tilt and get it completed which may take a while.
I'm quite proud of the Fort 2 class The lead ship was built in the Yard my Grandfather worked in for most of his working life. I watched them being built and Saw Fort Victoria complete with Radars she looked impressive. I would have liked to see another couple of them as the RFA could do with them. I would say they would have suited other Navies to. Might do an export model when I can get the tilt sorted its from the scan I'm working off.........anyone any ideas?

for a AU based on a maritime pakistan like nation I was just toying with on paper I used the Chinese Navy Fort II looking ship as a basis for a mulit role unit. It was like a poor mans version of the dutch JSS but with a mid ship battery of antiship missiles, a SAM launcher like on some of the later Type 53 frigates and ASW torpedoes tubes.
Peronally I would just make the real Fort II's stores ships and just remove the fuel. I think a export version of this ship would do well this day and age.

One version I'm thinking of for an export version is the RCN of 90's before the end of the cold war. But a second generation Fort II I should be a double hull.
