anybody has some intel about this type of ships? they were Russian concepts in the end of the cold war, as far as I know......
especially the size and specs would be very welcome

Look at the size of the torpedo with the size of the hatch (for comparison with a man-sized object), the torpedo is quite evidently smaller than usual, particularly its length.

it's was real

it isn't a ship comparable to the current sub's. according to what I read about it, this was an ship that was lying on the bottom most of the time. when a ship was sailing over it, it would launch it's shkval torpedo's.
the ship is not able to float, because it is too heavy. it would move with the large waterjets on the side, which look like it is some sort of harrier propulsion scaled up

the torpedo's are indeed a lot smaller then most, these were shkval's. these released a gas on the nose, so it would travel through gas and not water. becuase of this it was a lot faster then normal torpedo's.

These are basically "green water" littoral mini-subs.


Yes, concrete subs work. The problem is 1.) It's heavy to start out with, which means, well, it's heavy 2.) despite being very heavy, it's not a dense material, which means you take up loads and loads of volume than would be otherwise (see picture for proof), 3.) concrete isn't necessarily cheaper than steel. Hell, the steel part is cheap, it's the systems that are expensive.

This isn't even an answer looking for a question, it's a blatant lie.
